SPUT Announces Tom Streitz as Interim Executive Director

The St. Paul Urban Tennis Board of Directors is thrilled to announce that Tom Streitz joined the St. Paul Urban Tennis staff on Monday, October 10 as Interim Executive Director. 

Tom is a long-time civil rights lawyer and Georgetown University Law graduate. In addition to his vast legal experience, Tom is a 20+ year veteran of the nonprofit sector and has extensive experience in fundraising and overseeing Capital Campaigns. He has developed and founded several successful nonprofits, including Land Bank Twin Cities, One Yoga and most recently helped launch the Anti Racism Commitment Coalition (ARCC). Most recently, Tom served as the President/CEO of Twin Cities RISE, a leading national nonprofit providing training and family-sustaining employment opportunities to low-income persons facing barriers to employment. 

As Interim Executive Director, Tom will provide leadership to the St. Paul Urban Tennis staff, participate in fundraising and development opportunities, manage the organization’s daily tasks and support the Board of Directors. 

Tom is an avid tennis player and long-time youth sports coach who sees the powerful connection between youth sports and building leadership skills. He is married to his wife Michelle and has twin boys, Max and Alex.
