Building Futures on the Court
Learn How Saint Paul Urban Tennis is Changing Lives
Saint Paul Urban Tennis (SPUT) is a non-profit organization that has been serving youth since 1991. We provide tennis and life skills programming to over 2,000 youth every year in Saint Paul. SPUT is known for the life and leadership skills incorporated into our tennis programs. We have opportunities for kids to develop skills in one or more of 4 SPUT Leadership Pathways: Tennis, Education, Employment, and Service.
What We Do
At Saint Paul Urban Tennis we believe that every kid should have the opportunity to launch as a leader. We provide quality programming to youth from all backgrounds. Our goal is to make sure that everyone has access to the life lessons that we provide.
Why We Do It
Positive youth development ensures that youth are getting access to the opportunities that will launch their successful futures. From our five year olds to our advanced competition players, everyone at every level of Saint Paul Urban Tennis knows that we can make a positive difference in our community.
Where We Do It
Saint Paul Urban Tennis provides programming anywhere a ball bounces. We have 20+ court locations across Saint Paul for our summer lessons and camps. In addition, we deliver outreach programming using portable nets to ensure everyone experiences our programs.
How We Do It
We believe every youth should have access to quality mentorship, healthy living, and positive relationships. Through donations of time, energy, money, and goods, we’re able to make sure that barriers are as minimal as possible. No child is turned away based on inability to pay, lack of equipment, or their identity background.
