SPUT Volunteer Programs
Join the family of SPUT volunteers and make a positive impact in the lives of our young athletes! We are currently seeking passionate volunteers who are willing to dedicate their time and energy to work with St. Paul youth. Our program provides opportunities for young people to develop their tennis abilities while also building character, leadership skills, and a sense of community. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to work with inspiring young athletes, learn new skills, and contribute to a worthy cause. Whether you are an experienced tennis player or simply someone who enjoys working with kids, we welcome your involvement.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
On Court Assistant
On court volunteers help to feed tennis balls to our youth during hitting drills, engage smaller groups in tennis games, and coach the fundamentals of the sport with SPUT. Helping our coaches run the courts for an hour or more makes all the difference in the lives of our youth players.
June 20th - July 27th
(No lessons on the 4th of July)
Monday - Thursday
Mornings - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Afternoons - 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Not all site locations are available for each lesson time. Use the map at the right to find the court nearest to you.

Event Staff
SPUT hosts a number of tournaments, fundraisers, and summer camps each to connect our community with our goal of empowering youth leaders. During these events, our volunteers have greatly contributed to setting up, running tables, serving food, and tearing down afterwards. We welcome volunteers to lend a hand at our upcoming summer events.

Educational Speaker/Mentor
Throughout the year SPUT holds several workshops for kids to learn teamwork, leadership skills, STEM, and financial responsibility. We are always interested in connecting our youth with influential leaders and career professionals in St. Paul. Sign up to be a guest speaker at one of our workshops, or mentor a participant in our Warrior Leadership Academy one on one.
