Major Responsibilities:
1. Programs
Tennis
- Plan all youth programming for summer, fall, winter, and spring seasons.
- Secure necessary contracts with the city, schools and universities for tennis court usage.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, scheduling, and development of all tennis coaches and program coordinators.
- Manage tennis programming budget, ensuring that revenue and expenses are balanced.
- Recommend program fee increases as needed.
- Manage hourly wages for coaching staff.
- Track inventory and order equipment and supplies for all programs.
- Track participant demographics and attendance to support grant and donation requests for subsidized program fees.
- Develop curriculum to support consistent and high-quality tennis program delivery.
Warrior Leadership Academy
- Plan and deliver program annually
- Support the planning and design of the leadership retreat
- Provide on court tennis instruction 15-18 Saturdays from November to March
- Assist with workshops and/or leadership development sessions that may include weeknights and weekends
- Manage communications with youth throughout season
- Manage partnerships/guest pros
- Manage transportation strategies that include coordinating busses for youth during season
- Administer pre and post surveys
2. Partnerships
- Establish partnership contracts with schools, recreation centers, daycare centers, public housing developments and others to effectively reach our targeted audiences and grow program participation.
- Maintain and develop new partnerships to promote SPUT and programs.
- Assist in recruitment of tennis players, pros and others for SPUT fundraising events
3. Evaluation and Data Collection
- Develop evaluation strategy for all SPUT programs
- Track program outputs and outcomes to support continuous program quality improvement and to satisfy accountability requirements.
- Provide quarterly program reports to Executive Director
- Participate in Sprockets meetings (Out-of-School-Time Network) and support the data collection efforts of SPUT
4. Supervisory
- Provide work plans and manage tennis coaches, summer coordinators and other staff appropriate to tennis programs
- Support the professional development of SPUT coaches and part time staff relating to programs.

All SPUT staff and Board members, Youth Council, program mentors and volunteers
External Relationships:
Saint Paul Public Schools, City of Saint Paul, Sprockets Network Partners, Tennis Industry
Partners (USTA, USPTA, PTR), NJTL Partners, Funders, Vendors
Compensation:
$50,000 to $70,000 annually as a full-time exempt employee
