Warrior Leadership Academy, Where Champions Are Made!
The Warrior Leadership Academy (WLA) is our tennis and leadership education program for middle school and high school students. Participants must be committed to improving their tennis abilities at weekly drills, and to build the skills needed to become future leaders through off-court workshops and experiences.
Tennis Instruction/Play:
Tennis practice and drills take place on Saturday evenings, November through March, at a local indoor tennis facility. Bus transportation is provided (though not required) to and from SPUT's office at Eastview Rec Center.
Tennis Competition:
Students are encouraged to compete for their high school teams and will also be notified of opportunities to compete in USTA Junior Team Tennis and/or Tournaments.
Off-Court Development:
Warrior students work as a team to participate in workshops focused on player development, personal goal setting, financial literacy, college and career exploration, community service, and more. Additionally, participants are expected to participate with a group of Warriors in off-court mentoring with program volunteers. Please note that dates/times for mentoring sessions will be provided after acceptance into the program.
Cost Breakdown:
We keep program fees low, but we also know that every family is different. A "one-size-fits-all" fee does not work. We provide scholarships and financial assistance to any family looking to participate. Fees help us fund our programs, but we want to give every kid the opportunity to launch as a leader.
Base fee for Warrior Leadership Academy winter tennis and off-court education activities:

NOT eligible for SPPS Free or Reduced Lunch Program: $1,000.00
