SPUT's Junior Scholarship Policy
No Child Turned Away Because of an Inability to Pay
Our goal is to make programming accessible to all families. A link to our financial assistance program is provided in our online registration system. You will be prompted to provide some information about your household size and income in order to determine recommended fees. We welcome all children to our programs and fundraise to ensure that we never have to turn any child away due to inability to pay!
Scholarship eligibility is based on federal poverty guidelines. For example, if your household size is 4 people with an annual income of over $70,000, you will likely not be eligible for a scholarship. Your family must qualify for the free/reduced school lunch program in order to be considered for financial assistance. SPUT keeps our program costs reasonable and offers a multi-child discount of 25% to ensure that finances are not an obstacle to participation. Our donors expect that scholarships are reserved for families with financial hardship.
