Staff
Becky comes to SPUT after nearly ten years working for USTA Northern, most recently as Director of Tennis Programs & Services, where she managed a team of five direct reports and several key initiatives. Prior to that, she taught tennis in both a public park and country club setting while playing tennis for the Mounds View Mustangs and UW-LaCrosse Eagles. She has a degree in Secondary Education and Spanish, is a member of the USTA's Adjunct Faculty, and is a certified PTR Professional. Her favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal and a few of her favorite books are The Help by Kathryn Stockett and The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.
Lori has worked for SPUT for 2 and a half years after volunteering for a couple of years before that. She and her family moved to MN from NH six years ago and have always been avid tennis players. Her favorite tennis player growing up was Chris Evert. With reading as a favorite past-time, she has several favorite books including The Red Tent, Outlander and The Other Boleyn Girl.
Tony Gatti, Program Coordinator - South Area
Tony has worked for SPUT for 18 years as an instructor and coordinator. He is a special education teacher in West St. Paul, the girls’ tennis coach for Henry Sibley and a member of the USPTA. He loves SPUT and all the great things that the program does for the kids of St. Paul. His favorite tennis player growing up was Andre Agassi, and he liked the book Open because it gave an inside look at the life of a pro tennis player.
