World Team Tennis

World Team Tennis is a professional and amateur co-ed tennis league founded by Billie Jean King in the 1970s. It is a revolutionary take on tennis, emphasizing a gender-equity team concept. Each team is comprised of at least two men and two women. Team matches consists of six sets, with one set each of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and two sets of mixed doubles.

*Please Note that we are combining 4.5 and Open into one group "4.5+" 

The 3.5 and 4.5+ divisions play on Tuesday evenings and will start May 24th, 6:30-8:30 pm. 

The 3.0 and 4.0 teams will play Wednesdays starting May 25th also 6:30-8:30 pm. 

A match consists of five or six no-ad sets and includes one set of men's and women's singles and doubles, and one or two sets of mixed doubles. The five set format has one set of mixed doubles, and the six set format has two (mixed doubles is always played last). The five set format is an option used only on the local level. The six set format is the STANDARD WTT format used at all WTT National Qualifiers and the WTT Nationals.
